The Department for Communities, Maritime Belfast Trust, and Belfast City Council collaborated to create the Queen's Quay Coffee Kiosk, which is located between SSE Arena and Lagan Weir Bridge.
Queen's Quay is located between Middlepath Street and Sydenham Road, running parallel to the River Lagan. There, in 1848, was constructed the Belfast and County Down Railway Station.
The kiosk has two trade kiosks with sails on top and is constructed of corten steel. Native, a coffee firm based in Belfast, will run it. Because of the effects of Storm Darragh, the kiosk had to operate fewer hours during its first week.

"The storm hasn't been very kind to our wee kiosks," Native wrote in an Instagram post.
"Queen's Quay Kiosk is so much more than a café," Native stated in a post outlining the location's vision.
It serves as a gathering spot for the community and a calm spot to sit and observe the passing scenery.
“Our wee coffee shop will be complemented by local traders, artist and makers. The hub that we call the ‘Queens Quay Collective’ can be used by small independent producers to test their products and designs.”
“Even more than that, it is a place for meeting, holding discussions like Climate Cafés, and maybe even (when the weather is right) an outdoor amateur drama (we’re thinking The Globe).”
