The international real estate consultancy’s calculations revealed that the gross rental yield in Dublin reached 7.33% by the end of June this year, making it the leading city for rental returns.
In fact, the top five European capitals for rental profitability are:
1. Dublin, Ireland – boasting an impressive gross yield of 7.33%.
2. Rome, Italy – with a gross profitability of 6.82%.
3. Riga, Latvia – showing a rental yield of 6.46%.
4. Bucharest, Romania – yielding 6.3%.
5. Podgorica, Montenegro – offering a return of 5.7%.
On the other end of the spectrum, some European capitals prove far less lucrative for property investors. The data highlights Oslo, Norway, with a low yield of 2.46%, and Luxembourg, yielding just 2.58%, as the least profitable cities for buying homes to rent out.
