According to a report by Bloomberg News on Friday, the corporation was examining its investment in Moet Hennessy and looking into options for Guinness, a standout performer in Diageo's portfolio.

Guinness might be worth over $10 billion. "We note the recent media speculation around the Guinness brand and our stake in Moet Hennessy and we can confirm that we have no intention to sell either," Diageo stated in a statement.

The company stated that on February 4th, it would present additional business updates along with interim results.

Although Guinness is an anomaly in Diageo's industry, which mostly comprises of spirits rather than beer, it has recently outperformed important spirits brands like Johnnie Walker whisky.

Following a post-pandemic surge in demand for more costly spirits, sales of spirits have suffered. Since 2021, Guinness sales have increased by double digits annually, and its zero-alcohol version has also seen a sharp increase.
