This will be paid in two equal installments, one prior to and one subsequent to the year's conclusion.
The Minister stated a further €300 lump sum payment will be provided to recipients of the Fuel Allowance in November, while an additional €200 will be paid to recipients of the Living Alone Allowance.
Those who receive the Carer's Support Grant, Disability Allowance, Blind Pension, Invalidity Pension, and Domiciliary Care Allowance in November 2024 will also get a payment of €400.
The Minister further stated that funding for the State Exam cost Waiver and the School Transport cost decrease will continue in order to benefit parents and children.
Additionally, Mr. Donohoe announced a one-time 33% decrease in the contribution price for apprentices in higher education, in addition to the ongoing €1,000 reduction in the student contribution fee.
Budget 2025 would increase the postgraduate tuition fee payment for recipients of student grants by €1,000.
