Supporters of Derry City and Institute FC, as well as out-of-town spectators, will be able to tune in to evocative commentary via the new program, which will be broadcast to a radio receiver via a headset from any location within the stadium.
The Derry City and Strabane District Council, the stadium's proprietors, installed the technology to increase accessibility.
According to Lilian Seenoi Barr, the mayor of Derry City and councilwoman for the Strabane District, this will enable more fans to take part in match day activities.
The service at Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium is comparable to the Soccer Sight initiative, which Windsor Park Stadium in Belfast successfully executed.
The new service, which featured commentary from Drive 105, was tested during Friday's 1-1 draw between Shamrock Rovers and Derry City. From now on, it will be accessible at all home games.
