The show, the largest air display on the island of Ireland, will also feature the iconic Supermarine Spitfire and the RAF Typhoon on Saturday and Sunday, promising a thrilling event for all ages.

Visitors can look forward to a dazzling aerobatic display by Airbourne Pyrotechnics, celebrating aviation in an exciting two-day spectacle.

The highly anticipated event, sponsored by Spirit AeroSystems and Thales, kicks off at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1:05 p.m. on Sunday. This year’s show has moved to a new location, starting at Ballyreagh Golf Course and extending to West Bay, providing panoramic views and a prime vantage point for spectators.

The powerful RAF Typhoon will showcase its awe-inspiring speed and agility with a series of breathtaking manoeuvres on both days. The Battle of Britain Memorial team, featuring the Spitfire, Lancaster, and Hurricane, will also perform captivating flypasts.

However, the Airbourne Pyrotechnics Team will only perform on Saturday evening. In addition to the aerial displays, the event will offer a variety of family-friendly activities and entertainment along the scenic coastal route. Attendees can enjoy vintage aircraft displays, live music, trade stands, a fun zone, artisan food markets, and arts and crafts stalls.

The STEM Village, sponsored by Matrix, will return, bringing together top local employers and educators to inspire young people to explore careers in science and technology. The village, located at Ballyreagh Golf Course, will feature interactive exhibits and hands-on activities.

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council Mayor, Councillor Steven Callaghan, expressed his excitement for the return of the beloved air show after its extended break, calling it “one of the biggest highlights” in the borough’s tourism calendar.

“I’m particularly excited about this year’s new location,” he said. “It will provide visitors with the best possible views of the stunning aerial performances.”
