The garden centre and homewares company sells Sainsbury's ten outlets, including the ones in Londonderry and Omagh.
With the addition of these stores, there will be 14 Sainsbury's supermarkets in Northern Ireland overall.
The firm claims that by converting all of the Homebase locations into supermarkets, an additional 400,000 people in the UK will live within a 10-minute drive of a Sainsbury's.
All ten of the conversions are anticipated to be finished by the end of 2025, with the first of the new stores opening its doors the following summer.
Sainsbury's claims that the new outlets would generate 1,000 new employment for the firm, with a gross investment value of £130 million for the acquisition.
Interviews are assured for any Homebase workers who may be let go as a result of the transaction, according to Sainsbury's.
"We expect the stores to achieve strong returns, with return on capital employed in the low teens, comfortably in excess of Sainsbury's cost of capital," a Sainsbury's representative stated.
With the addition of these stores, there will be 14 Sainsbury's supermarkets in Northern Ireland overall. The Omagh Sainsbury's will be the first facility in the Tyrone town, and the Derry store will be the second location in the city.
