After 1,930 consumers participated in a public consultation held in May and June in collaboration with the National Transport Authority, a new schedule was developed.
Customers on the Sligo/Dublin Connolly route may now utilise the Luas Green line as all services now terminate at Broombridge. Along with later last departures to and from both cities, there will also be extra Intercity train services to and from Waterford and Galway.
Numerous DART, Northern Commuter, and Maynooth Commuter services will have altered departure schedules. Instead of starting and ending at Grand Canal Dock, certain Phoenix Park Tunnel services (Grand Canal Dock to Hazelhatch/Newbridge) will instead start and end at Connolly Station.
Hourly services between Belfast and Dublin will start later this year.
