The Belfast site will open on two stories of the historic Cleaver House on Donegall Square North, in the middle of the city, joining 39 other locations in The Ivy Restaurant network.
At first, the company claimed that the new upscale restaurant would generate about 70 new employees.
However, The Ivy made a statement that the restaurant will create over 100 jobs in the hospitality industry in the area and that it will be open seven days a week from breakfast till the evening.
"Belfast has been in our sights for quite some time, and we are absolutely thrilled to be opening in this vibrant city," stated Laura Mills, managing director of The Ivy Collection.
We are thrilled to share in the growing excitement and upbeat vibe that the city, one of the "must-visit" destinations in Europe, if not the entire globe, possesses.
"We cannot wait for Belfast to experience the undeniable magic that The Ivy Collection is renowned for, and we look forward to joining the City’s already incredible culinary offering."
The business is now hiring for a variety of positions. This covers waiter, sous chef, and bar manager positions.
According to reports, The Ivy in Belfast is an £8 million project whose construction started in January of this year.
The Cleaver House structure is listed, and much of its interior and exterior character is still present.
