Since 2007, Divilly's, an Oranmore-based company, has been supplying Aldi with 100% Irish Bord Bia Quality Assured sliced and carved cooked gammon products for Aldi's 163 locations across the country.

The Galway company will also expand its line of low-fat black puddings at the supermarket chain as part of the new €4 million deal. Established in 1927, Divilly Brothers is a family-run business with more than 50 employees.

According to the company, the Aldi contract renewal will assist the overall effectiveness and ongoing expansion of their operations while enabling them to build their business and continue to supply an increasing variety of items.

Divilly's Commercial Director Shane Divilly stated that the company has expanded since it began supplying Aldi in 2007 and that this contract renewal is evidence of the "fantastic" working relationship between the two sides.

Aldi Ireland's buying director, Peter Bough, stated that the firm was pleased to announce the extension of its long-standing collaboration with Divilly Brothers and the addition of an additional €4 million per year to that agreement.

"Divilly's is a company that is constantly recognised for their high quality and tasty products, including the range of Bord Bia Quality Assured cooked Irish gammon supplied to Aldi," he stated.
