In collaboration with one of the largest game publishers in the UK, Team17 Digital, Ambertail Games plans to launch Amber Isle in October.

In Amber Isle, a dinosaur-themed retail simulation, players take on the role of the new storekeeper in a community of Paleofolk, or prehistoric creatures, living in a "quaint, friendly village of prehistoric residents."

Prior to its release, the game has already been translated into seven different languages. Co-founder of Ambertail Games Jordan Bradley expressed her excitement about the response from the community.

"It's very exciting; a wide range of ages, from young children to older men, are interested in it," she remarked. The attraction is not limited to those in Northern Ireland.

Jordan and Noel Watters launched Ambertail Games in 2020. Eager to launch a gaming company in Northern Ireland, the two chose to locate their business in the centre of Belfast.

"Building the company has been interesting because in 2020, Noel and I worked together to build a prototype in my spare bedroom using only the money we had," Jordan remarked.

"Seeing where we have come with this team around us is fantastic."
