The multisport and multiuse arena's capacity will be doubled to 3,272 as a result of the renovation, which should take 18 months to finish.
In addition to four basketball courts, a gym, a cafe, corporate facilities and office space for Basketball Ireland employees, the 8,000 square meter facility will have these amenities.
Sporting organisations that want to utilise the arena include Irish Squash, Volleyball Ireland, and Badminton Ireland. It will be completely inclusive and accessible.
