Kellie Harrington has reached the Olympic final once again after defeating her Brazilian rival Beatriz Ferreira. In a repeat of the Tokyo Games final three years ago, Harrington won the first round comfortably, while Ferreira took the second. The match was decided in the final round, where Ferreira delivered strong punches, but Harrington held her ground and landed a brilliant left-hand strike to secure victory.

Harrington will now face Wenlu Yang in the final at Roland-Garros on Tuesday night around 10 p.m. Irish time.

Rhys McClenaghan won an Olympic gold medal in the Men’s Pommel Horse final with a score of 15.533. This achievement marks Team Ireland’s sixth medal at the Paris Olympic Games and adds to McClenaghan’s impressive list of accomplishments in gymnastics.
