At the Southern 100 on the Isle of Man, where Dunlop won two races for a triple overall at the Billown track, the racer from Northern Ireland made the news on Thursday.

After a falling out with the club, Dunlop departed from the Armoy meeting in County Antrim in 2022. However, he returned in the summer of 2023, winning five races and clinching an unprecedented tenth victory in the renowned “Race of Legends.”

The 35-year-old, who promised, “I'll not be back,” is destined to miss the last Irish road race of 2024, which is scheduled for July 26–27.

“That's me finished until the Classic (Manx Grand Prix),” Dunlop declared.

Once more, everyone else has gobbled up the budget that Armoy was meant to have.

“We've put a lot of time and effort into the club, and that's how they repay me, so it's a bit of a disappointment, so I won't be returning.”
