In 2020, Decathlon set up shop in Dublin's Ballymun neighbourhood, and in 2023, it launched a second location in Limerick.

In Clerys Quarter, the sports retailer signed a long-term 30-year lease, and the new shop will generate over 50 employment.

The new shop has a floor size of more than 2,200 square metres and is divided into two floors.

Decathlon Ireland's CEO, Elena Pecos, expressed her excitement over the company's third Irish store opening this week.

“Clerys holds a special place in the hearts of many Irish people, and we are delighted and honoured to become a part of this legacy,” she stated.

“Our commitment goes beyond offering sports products; it extends to creating a community hub where the people of Dublin can continue to build their active lifestyles and create new memories for generations to come,” she stated.
