The Irishman managed to hold off former Masters champion Mike Weir at -15 in New York.

The win is Harrington’s 40th professional victory and his 8th victory on the Champions Tour, after making his debut on the tour in 2022.

The former Ryder Cup captain shot a 68 on day one, before shooting an exceptional 65 on day two to get right in contention going into his final round on Sunday. Harrington shot a 68 on day three to win his third Dick’s Sporting Goods Open title – winning the title three years in a row, after victories in 2022 and 2023.
