Just over 3.4 million people used the airport in July, a figure that was on par with July 2019 and 13% higher than the same month in 2022.
205,000 transfer and transit travellers were included in this statistic for July at Dublin Airport.
According to the daa, which runs Dublin and Cork airports, there were more than over 100,000 passengers on each of the month's 31 days.
Cork Airport, the nation's second busiest airport, experienced its busiest July since 2008 with 301,000 passengers flying to and from the airport.
Additionally, July's passenger volume at Cork Airport increased by 13% from July 2022.
Kenny Jacobs who is the CEO of the daa said: “The busiest days in July normally come in the middle part of the month, but this year passenger numbers continued to rise as the month went on at both Dublin and Cork airports.”
He continued: “The summer so far has been really smooth at both Dublin and Cork airports which is all down to the phenomenal efforts of the teams working in both airports.”
