This weekend, passengers flying out of Dublin Airport are encouraged to be at their terminal two hours before a short-haul departure and three hours prior to a long-haul trip.
Although the regulations regarding liquids have not changed, both terminals are still implementing new, upgraded security scanners.
Over the course of the weekend, almost 463,000 people are projected to pass through Dublin Airport. Sunday is anticipated to be the busiest day, with just under 119,000 passengers expected to arrive and leave from Dublin Airport.
There will be 116,000 people passing through the airport on Friday and Monday, respectively.
The biggest days for departures throughout the August bank holiday weekend are Friday and Sunday, when just under 60,000 passengers are anticipated to depart from the airport.
