It is not surprising that an Irish steakhouse has been voted among the finest in the world because Ireland is famed for its premium meat and was already quite highly listed on the list.

The Dublin City Centre restaurant F.X. Buckley has established itself as a favourite among fans of premium steak. Many people are not shocked to find F.X. Buckley high on the list of the World's 101 Best Steak Restaurants this year.

By surpassing renowned steakhouses in cities like Sydney, Madrid, and Las Vegas, the popular Dublin steakhouse claimed the sixth slot on the list. "The Buckley Family has achieved legendary status in Dublin over the last six generations," the list's creators wrote of the eatery. "Originally as butchers and purveyors of the finest quality meats, and later as operators of some of the nation's favourite steakhouses, gastro-pubs, and bars."

“At F.X. Buckley, they source their own Angus and Hereford beef, so they are completely aware of what is being served on their restaurant tables," they stated. There is plenty of time for a healthy coating of marbling to grow up, giving the steak cuts from heifers alone that extra unique flavour because they are fed for at least two years on the best Irish grass.

“Even though we have long understood the advantages of Irish beef, the quality on offer has been excellent. F.X. Buckley is a brand-new entry in our top 10 list of the world's best steak restaurants and has made an impression on us.”
