An Post's new headquarters have been formally inaugurated by Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, and to celebrate the occasion, the Irish postal service is offering free digital stamps to everyone in the nation today.

An Post is travelling to the newly built EXO building on the north quay of the Liffey, where it claims that "the postal service of the future will be created." With this change, An Post enters the next stage of its corporate transformation and digital expansion as the hub of international e-commerce trade, logistics, and financial services for Ireland.

Anyone may get a free digital stamp today for delivery of a standard letter inside the Republic of Ireland by installing the An Post App.

This stamp can be used right away or within 31 days, and it will save you the customary €2 fee.

An Post's Mails & Parcels and Retail businesses, as well as its corporate centre, are supported by 900 employees who work on six floors of the historic EXO building as specialists and support staff in the fields of digital, technology, finance, innovation, product development, marketing, financial services, sales, human resources, customer support, legal, and communications.

Taoiseoch Leo Varadkar said: "Leaving the GPO is a significant moment in An Post’s history, some might even say the ‘end of an era’. It’s also the beginning of a new one."
