After a run of impressive performances for the defeated Leinster finals, Craig Lennon was named Louth's first All-Star since Paddy Keenan in 2010, while defeated All-Ireland finalists Galway have collected five trophies.
Red Hands goalkeeper Niall Morgan received his second All-Star after earning his first after the county's Sam Maguire victory in 2021, despite Tyrone's lacklustre season that culminated in a loss to Roscommon in the All-Ireland preliminary round.
Morgan defeated fellow Ulster keepers Shaun Patton (Donegal) and Blaine Hughes (Armagh), the only former All-Star among this year's winners.
Nonetheless, Ulster champions Donegal received two trophies, with Oisin Gallen and Peadar Mogan being honoured for their efforts in Jim McGuinness's first season back in charge.
Dublin and Kerry are not included in the All-Star XV for the first time since 2003. Four members of the 2023 All-Ireland champion Dubs—Sean Bugler, Brian Fenton, Con O'Callaghan, and Cormac Costello—were nominated.
Kerry's four nominations, including his brother Paudie and 2022 and 2023 Footballer of the Year David Clifford, are also not included.
For the second time in his career as a senior Kerry player, David Clifford is left out; he was previously passed over in 2020.
"To be included on the ultimate team of teams after what was a dramatic and memorable football season is a significant honour and I congratulate all of those who have been selected," Jarlath Burns, president of the GAA, said.
"We play a team game, but we have always reserved a special place for those Laochra Gael who cast a spell through the extraordinary heights and contributions that they make."
