Cork has also seen a significant increase, with a 22 percent rise over the same period.

The companies predict that Ireland could experience an even bigger influx of parties from the UK in 2025, following Prague’s upcoming ban on organized pub crawls. This ban, aimed at reducing night-time noise, will prohibit pub crawls in the Czech capital from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Jon Stainer, Creative Director at StagWeb and GoHen, explained, “Post-pandemic, we noticed a strong shift away from Eastern Europe in favour of Spanish and Irish destinations—a trend likely to strengthen in 2025 due to Prague’s new restrictions on pub crawls.

“Initially, uncertainty from the war in Ukraine led travellers to reconsider the region. We anticipated a return by 2025, but the pub crawl ban sends a clear signal, leading us to expect even more stags and hens to choose Spain and Ireland. Ireland, with its lively nightlife and welcoming atmosphere, stands to gain economically, whether it’s Dublin, Cork, Galway, or beyond.”

In 2019, Prague was the top destination for stag and hen parties, but Dublin has now risen to third place for 2024.
