In addition, TII has confirmed the contractual toll increases for eight Public-Private Partnership (PPP) toll roads, which include the M1, M3, M4, M7/M8, M8, N18 Limerick Tunnel, and N25 Waterford.

Beginning January 1st, 2025, there will be a 10 cent increase on the M50 for cars, buses, coaches, and light goods vehicles without a tag or video account.

However, there will be no increase for vehicles registered with a tag or video account on the M50.

For heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) over 10,000kg with a tag or video account, the toll will increase by 10 cents on the M50, while unregistered HGVs without a tag or video account will see a 20 cent increase.

The Dublin Port Tunnel will see a €1 toll increase for southbound traffic during the morning peak hours (towards Dublin Port), raising the toll from €12 to €13.

TII justifies this increase to maintain capacity for HGVs, which continue to have free passage through the Dublin Port Tunnel at all times. All other tolls for the Dublin Port Tunnel will remain unchanged in 2025.

For the eight PPP toll roads, buses, coaches, and HGVs will face a 10 cent toll increase, except for the M3, where HGVs under 3,500kg will not see any change.

Additionally, for the M4 Kilcock to Kinnegad, HGVs over 3,500kg will experience a 20 cent increase, and cars will see a 10 cent increase. For other PPP toll roads, there will be no increase for cars.
