England’s Dan Brown took 3rd place, while local favourite Jon Rahm finished 6th. Ireland’s Tom McKibbin finished tied 43rd.

Guerrier’s victory came in his 230th DP World Tour appearance, following an intense play-off at the Estrella Damm N.A Andalucia Masters.

Starting the final round tied for the lead at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande, Guerrier carded a two-under 70, with five birdies, a bogey, and a double-bogey. His win seemed unlikely until a crucial 15-foot par save on the final hole, while Campillo bogeyed two of his last four holes to also finish at 21-under. The players then parred the first eight play-off holes before Guerrier triumphed.

On the Senior Tour, Padraig Harrington finished tied 11th at the Dominion Energy Charity Classic.
