The Englishman beat Belgian Nicolas Colsaerts by a single shot at -24. The win is huge for Hatton and his chances of playing in Europe’s Ryder Cup team next year and also cements his position in the ‘Race of Dubai’.

It was a good week on the links for Shane Lowry, who finished tied 12th at 16-under. Padraig Harrington had an impressive week, finishing tied 25th alongside Rory McIlroy and Robert MacIntyre.
