The updated schedule includes the addition of a morning service from Tullamore to Galway, which will depart at 7:27 a.m. on weekdays, Monday through Friday. This new service is expected to better accommodate early morning travellers heading towards Galway.

In addition to the extra service from Tullamore, the revised timetable also brings more frequent services during the weekends around Cork, offering increased flexibility for passengers in that region.

Furthermore, the timetable will introduce new train routes from Dublin to both Galway and Waterford, expanding travel options for those commuting between these key cities.

The changes are set to come into effect on August 26th, marking a significant enhancement in Irish Rail’s service offerings, aimed at meeting the evolving needs of commuters and travellers across the country.
